Are You Failing at Social Media Management?

social media failWell, are you failing at managing your social content and that of other brands you manage? If you’re like many of us who manage several profiles, you probably spend hours curating, organizing, hashtagging, and scheduling content for each profile almost daily. And that doesn’t even include thanking and recognizing all your best engagers with Follow Friday greetings.

Let me introduce you to a solution that I use and that will take all of the burden away. You’ll have the ability to focus on the core aspects of your business, while still having plenty of time to engage and deepen relationships formed through your various social media activities.

Back in late 2011, I wrote about the social content management system developed by Social Resolve. Company founder and friend, Robert Caruso, sat down with me to answer my questions about why all businesses, but especially small businesses, should get involved in social media. At the time, I had just begun to use the Bundle Post tool and loved it so much, I felt compelled to write about it. It literally transformed my business and revolutionized workflow at All Media Freelance, LLC. Now, the best social media content management tool ever moves on to the next stage of amazing with Bundle Post 2.0.

Why Use Bundle Post for Social Media Management?

Bundle Post allows you to automate social media content management tasks, eliminating the time sucking process involved in finding appropriate content, then organizing, scheduling, and hashtagging it. It can take hours upon hours searching out content that fits your brand, or that of your clients. Then you’ve got to schedule each tweet or post that you craft from those hours of discovery one by one. What about hashtags? You need to take the time to research the best hashtags for the content and add them in. Next, you’ve got to organize each post so that there’s not too much in one topic area, or from one source, going out at once.

Wow! I’m exhausted just listing all those tasks! Bundle Post does all of that for you. That way you have more time to engage face-to-face with followers and fans. And it frees you up to tend to other key aspects of business, or get a mani-pedi and a facial. Gotta keep up your sparkle.

Bundle Post 2.0 – I’ve Got a Crush on You

Introducing Bundle Post 2.0 – Bundle Post, will you marry me? Here’s why I love it so much. As always, you can schedule at least 5 days of meaningful content posts for your various social media channels and profiles in less than 30 minutes. The beautiful new interface makes it easier to use and more intuitive for even the most tech-challenged user. The customer service and other teams are readily accessible and incredibly helpful. Folks, these people just don’t quit.

Here’s how it works…the Bundle Post (BP) solution includes six key areas that don’t require you to connect directly to any social networks or readers:

Feed Channels – Keep all your curated content in one place. You set up the RSS feeds and Google Alerts you want and BP authomatically ingests new content four times a day, saving each bit of content as a social media post that you can view, edit, or delete on the spot.

social media feed channels

Schedules – Create schedules for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Fan pages for every profile you manage.

social media schedules

My Content – Create content folders for each profile that contain posts from your blog, promotional content for the profiles you manage, inspiring quotes. Really, these hold just about anything meant to directly promote you or the brands you manage.

social media content

Hashtags – Create and store hashtags for each profile or brand you manage. Using the hashtags in these folders, you can automatically apply hashtags to an entire content export file in one second flat.

social media hashtags

Export – Export the content for a particular client or brand in a CSV file for uploading into Hootsuite scheduler.

export social media content

Follow Friday – Create and store pre-made Follow Friday recommendation tweets for each client or brand in folders. You can then export and schedule them on Thursday to go out steadily on Friday. What once took me (literally) hours, now takes me 5 minutes.

Using the Bundle Post solution has saved me incredible amounts of time searching, editing, hashtagging, and scheduling content. So much so, that I estimate a savings of over $9,000 annually. And that’s probably a conservative estimate because it doesn’t include the monetary gains received because I had time to put focused effort into new client acquisition and other critical business areas.

I encourage you to try it and see what I mean. You can register for the 30-day free trial without giving a credit card number or any financial information at all. When you do, come back here and let me know what you think.

Please understand that I received no compensation of any form for this post. I’ve written it because I truly believe in Bundle Post and wanted to share my enthusiasm again, since they’ve rolled out 2.0 and it rocks my world #likeaboss.

  1. Hi Samantha, I just signed up for the FREE edition the other day and hope to get started this morning with it. I was so excited to see that version. Especially for Follow Friday! I will let you know how I like it and Robert seems like he will be right there if anyone has problems too. I also like the RSS feed with it. Does it work on mobile too? Thanks for showing us the features Samantha.

    • You’ll LOVE it, Lisa! Seriously…it’s worth every penny to go with a Pro subscription. Robert is the best and he truly is there all the time. He always has a wonderful support staff that is as talented and dedicated as he is! Please let me know what you think and feel free to give me a shout if you have any questions. xo

    • Thank you so much. And yes, we are here no matter what to assist and help any way possible!

  2. Great post, and I agree completely, Samantha. I am a fairly new Bundle Post Pro customer and like you, I have found that it is saving me a ton of time, making me AND my clients look good because we have consistent posts and are able to actually engage more fully on a daily basis. Robert and Julia are a great support team, so it’s comforting to know that as my questions surface, or i forget something they already covered, Julia is just a quick email or phone call away! Bravo, Bundle Post, and congrats to all the smart social and community managers who tap into it as a paid tool to get the job done right!

    • Thanks for your kind words, Lynn, and for taking the time to share. It saves me so much time and, consequently, money that I’m flabbergasted. I mention in the post about the thousands it has saved me directly and indirectly. I’m glad you’re loving it and have experienced the very real value and benefit it provides people like you and me. Yes, Robert and Julia are truly gems and have always been very respectful and patient when I have a question, or can’t figure something out. I’m a veteran now, though, and don’t typically have many questions about front end tasks, etc. I’m going to begin using it for the first time ever to post FB content and content to G+. Hope it’s as intuitive as the Twitter feed and #FF set up.

      Thanks again Lynn! xo

  3. Hey Samantha,

Very nice walkthrough and I had no idea about Bundle Post until I read your post. Heard first time from Lisa and came here following her link at Twitter. It’s really nice to see Follow Friday feature in there too. That’s cool!

Well, I’ll go ahead and try out 30 day trial for sure :) Thanks dear!

You have a wonderful weekend there :)

    Cheers…

  4. As someone who isn’t much of a social media fiend, this might really help me get my name out there on a consistent basis. Thanks for the great article!

    • It’s really a great tool, Michael. You can promote other people’s content (which is what you should be doing anyway) and talk about yourself 10 % of the time…your following will grow and grow. But remember, nothing replaces face time engagement. What BundlePost does is tweet for you all day, so you don’t have to spend time looking up content, hashtagging it, and then tweeting it. It does it all for you (aggregation and everything). Then you have the time to really authentically engage with your followers. It’s golden.
